Sanjay Singh Case: Delhi HC grants time to ED, next hearing on Tuesday

New Delhi: AAP MP Sanjay Singh moved Delhi High Court and Challenged the arrest made by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in alleged excise policy case. HC today heard the matter and listed the matter for next hearing on Tuesday. Bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Sanjeev Narula  heard the matter in Delhi High Court today.

Delhi High Court has granted time to the Enforcement Directorate to file a reply on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh’s petition challenging his arrest and remand in the Excise policy case.

Moreover, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court sent AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh to judicial custody till October 27. Sanjay Singh was arrested by the ED on October 4 for having connection in alleged money laundering case.  Earlier this week, Delhi’s rouse avenue court extended the custody of Sanjay Singh till 13th October
