New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday expressed concern
over the possibility of Corona infection due to farmer agitation that’s been
going on for more than a month on the capital's border.
The bench headed by Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde asked
the central government to strictly follow the rules to avoid the Corona
epidemic in the farmers movement. Justice Bobde said, "We do not know whether
the farmers are safe from Covid-19 or not?" But if the rules are not
followed, then there can be a problem like Tabligi Jamaat.
He asked the Center to ensure that Covid protocol is being
followed in the farmers' movement. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the
rules are not being followed there.
