Dress code implemented in Jalandhar police station: No entry for visitors wearing half-pants, kapris

Jalandhar News: In a bizarre rule, the Jalandhar division number-4 has implemented a dress code for people coming to the police station.
Notices have been pasted in the premises that wearing capri and half-pants are prohibited in the police station.
Although there is no order from the DGP’s office or the Police Commissioner’s office for those who come to the police station with their complaints, this notice has been pasted at their own level in Police Station Division No. 4. When asked about this, the staff of the police station argued that if someone goes to any government office wearing capri or niqaar, it does not apt for formal occasion and offices.
