AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has formed a 9-member joint committee to initiate efforts for the release of Sikh prisoners lodged in different jails. The first meeting of the committee will be held today (May 19) in Amritsar.
This meeting will be held under the chairmanship of committee head Harjinder Singh Dhami. Notably, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Simranjeet Singh Mann, Harman Singh Khalsa, Baljit Singh Daduwal, Harmeet Singh Kalka, Manjit Singh GK, Paramjit Singh Sarna, Baba Nihal Singh (Harianvela wale) are the members of the committee and will mark their presence in the meeting today.
