JALANDHAR: The Workers of Punjab Roadways and PUNBUS have staged protest at the PAP Chowk and National Highway in Jalandhar. This has lead to massive traffic jams. The Jalandhar to Amritsar, Jalandhar to Ludhiana and Delhi to Jalandhar roads have been blocked.
The protesting employees said that before coming to power, the government had made several promises which has not been fulfilled yet. This is the reason of the protest against the government and administration.
