Former Dy CM OP Soni Appears before Vigilance; Interrogation lasted for 3 hours

AMRITSAR: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Om Prakash Soni appeared before the Vigilance Bureau on Tuesday (November 29).He was interrogated for about three hours in the disproportionate assets case. OP Soni said, "My Answers are still the same as given in the affidavit of the Election Commission. I will fully cooperate in the investigation of Vigilance and will definitely reach whenever they call."

Recently, Vigilance had sent summons to Om Prakash Soni to appear on November 25, but he appealed to advance the date citing health. Significantly, the Vigilance Bureau issued notice to sought information related to income from OP Soni. The vigilance has also asked for the details of the property.
