COVID-19 Third Wave: Chandigarh Administration Issues New Guidelines

CHANDIGARH: Taking in view the emerging third wave of Coronavirus, the Chandigarh administration has issued a set of guidelines to curb the spread of infection in the UT. 

The administration has ordered that it will be mandatory for the government employees to carry a Negative RT-PCR Report from an ICMR approved lab not older than 72 hours or should have certificate of atleast first dose of Covid-19 vaccination. 

Apart from this, wearing of masks and social distancing will be mandatory for the passengers traveling in CTU buses (Chandigarh Transport). Rules have also been issued for those who are applying for driving license as they have to bring RT-PCR Report not older than 72 hours or should have certificate of atleast first dose of Covid-19 vaccination.
