I am coming back Home, says Rajkumar Verka as he resigns from BJP
He will join Congress today.
Punjab Desk: Its homecoming from Raj Kumar Verka. In a nig blow to BJP, former congress leader who joined BJP last year in 2022 after defeat of congress in the state elections has resigned from the BJP and is going back in Congress.
In a press conference he announced his resignation and said that I will join back congress today. Earlier last year many leaders including Raj Kumar Verka left congress and joined BJP and now he has become first leader to join back Congress. He termed his decision to join back congress as Homecoming.
Regretting about his decision to join BJP, he also hinted that many leaders in coming time will be coming back to congress.
Raj Kumar Verka has been a prominent face of Punjab politics as is also known as big Dalit face of Punjab Politics. He was an MLA from Amritsar west and also worked as a cabinet minister during Charanjit Channi’s government.
