NEW-DELHI: India has reported 10,423 new Coronavirus cases and 443 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the total caseload in the country has reached to 34,296,237. The death toll in the country has climbed to 4,58,880. The global coronavirus caseload has topped 247.1 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 5 million and vaccinations soared to over 7.08 billion, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are 1,53,776 active cases and 3,36,83,581 recovered/discharged/cured cases in the country. The recovery rate stands at 98.21% and the country's active caseload currently stands at 0.45%, which is the lowest since March 2020.
Under the nationwide vaccination drive, 5,239,444 more doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in the country. With this, a total of more than 1.06 billion doses have been administered since the drive began.
