Alia Bhatt receives National award for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, rewears her wedding saree
New Delhi: 69th National Film Awards were organized here in the national capital today which was attended by many celebrities who won National award in different categories for their distinctive work in the cinema. The award ceremony was attended by many actors and actress including Alia Bhatt who won a National award for best actress in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
She reached Delhi in the morning and was accompanied by her husband actor Ranbir Kapoor. The major highlight was that the actress chose her wedding outfit to wear for National awards 2023. She looked absolutely stunning in her ivory embodied saree which she rewore for the special occasion. Her wedding saree was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.Meanwhile, Ranbir complemented his wife in a black blazer looking super dapper.
After receiving award, Alia expressed her gratitude. She said “It is a big moment…I am very grateful.”
The actress was also accompanied by filmmaker Karan Johar who received special jury award for film SherShah. Kriti Sanon also won award for best actress for film ‘Mimi’.
