Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian contingent for winning 100 medals at the Asian Games. Earlier on Saturday, four medals came in archery. Ojas Devtale won the gold medal in the men’s compound individual event at the Asian Games while Abhishek Verma had to settle for the silver medal.
Earlier, Jyoti won the gold medal by defeating South Korea’s So Chawon 149-145 in the women’s compound final. Indian archer Aditi Swami won a bronze medal in the women’s compound individual event at the Asian Games.
