The day is observed to commemorate and pay respect to police brave hearts who sacrificed their life during their duty. Day was observed in Jalandhar. At Jalandhar, , Dr Atul Fulzele, IPS, IG BSF Punjab, along with senior officers and personnel, paid his respects and laid a wreath as a tribute to our fallen martyrs today.
