  Gujarat CM chairs high-level meeting, reviews security measures ahead of cricket match

Gandhinagar: The most anticipated match of World Cup 2023, the India Vs Pakistan is all set to be held on October 14, 2023 here at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Ahead of cricket Match between India and Pakistan, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a high-level meeting with the officials and reviewed the security measures taken by Gujarat Police. Apart from the security measures at Narendra Modi stadium, CM also reviewed safety measures of the audience and traffic measures during the match.

Security arrangements in Narendra Modi stadium have been beefed up after a threat to blow the stadium was received by intelligence agencies. Reportedly, an email was received by NIA. The sender in the email threatened to carry out attacks during match and blow up the Stadium. It also demanded  sum of Rs 500 crore and release of gangster Lawerence Bishnoi.
