Punjab Desk: In a major relief to former Deputy CM and Congress leader , Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued regular bail to OP Soni in disproportionate assets case. He was arrested by Vigilance Bureau in DA case. Earlier his bail request was rejected by Amritsar court.
In July, vigilance Bureau registered case against him for He was arrested from chandigarh for having disproportionate assets from his known sources of Income.
After his arrest on July 10, a court granted his two-day remand to the VB but later he was admitted to a private hospital following some health complications. He was discharged from hospital on July 17 and was remanded in two-day VB custody.
